Shalom = Used for saying both "hello" and                 "goodbye"

Lehitraote = "See ya later"

Afo attaw lomed evreet? = "Where do you study Hebrew?"

Any lomed Evreet beUlpon = "I study Hebrew in Ulpon"

Afo attaw garr? = "Where do you live?"

Any garr beYerushalim - "I live in Jerusalem"

Notice that the word "in" is connected to the word in front of it. For example...
beYerushalim means "in Jerusalem". Another example is beUlpon which means "in Ulpon" (Hebrew School)
